Generalized quantifiers in formal concept analysis

چکیده
Usually, datasets contain imprecise data (noise), which can produce unsuspected results on the considered mappings. For instance, this happen with infimum and supremum operators, since both operators are straightforwardly associated universal existencial quantifiers, respectively. An interesting possibility, of decreasing impact possible noise in final results, is consideration generalized quantifiers. This paper introduces four kinds quantifiers based adjoint triples, generalize current approaches to a more flexible framework. Different properties characterizations studied they have been applied formal concept analysis, presenting conjunctive implicative concept-forming outstanding theory.

Detecting Features from Confusion Matrices Using Generalized Formal Concept Analysis
We claim that the confusion matrices of multiclass problems can be analyzed by means of a generalization of Formal Concept Analysis to obtain symbolic information about the feature sets of the underlying classification task. We prove our claims by analyzing the confusion matrices of human speech perception experiments and comparing our results to those elicited by experts.
متن کاملGeneralized Quantifiers
We review recent work in the field of generalized quantifiers on finite models. We give an idea of the methods that are available in this area. Main emphasis is on definability issues, such as whether there is a logic for the PTIME properties of unordered finite models.
متن کاملScalability in Formal Concept Analysis
Formal Concept Analysis is a symbolic learning technique derived from mathematical algebra and order theory. The technique has been applied to a broad range of knowledge representation and exploration tasks in a variety of domains. Most recorded applications of formal concept analysis deal with a small number of objects and attributes, in which case the complexity of the algorithms used for ind...
متن کاملTyped Formal Concept Analysis
Formal Concept Analysis (FCA) appears to be ideal for interpreting data in domains that are a-priori unstructured. In our research we focus on complex contexts with very large and rapidly changing numbers of real-world objects – for instance, data generated on-line and tracking real-time contexts in transport, enterprise warehousing, manufacturing control or social networking activities on the ...
